Our ministry is according to Jesus’s words in Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”  This calling to fulfill this has led us to India. India is a land 1/3 the size of the United States with a population of approximately 1.3 billion people. Four times that of the United States! Only somewhere between 3-5% of the population is Christian and it is estimated that around 90% of the remaining population has never heard the name of Jesus Christ. Our God’s desire is for men to be saved, and that witnesses of the resurrected Lord Jesus would bring this news to the end of the earth.

It is also clear from the scriptures that God cares dearly for the poor and needy and the widow and orphan. This need is epidemic in India. Jesus was clear that He was about demonstarting the love of God  not only in word and but in deed. Another great aspect of our work in helping to provide food, clean water, clothing and medical help to orphans, widows, and poor. This led us to partner with Pastor Salmon and in his family. Daily food, fruit, clean water, as well as clothing and medical is provided  for around 30 orphans, 15-20 widows, and the poor of their village!  We support monthly outreaches, where the good news is brought into villages take place by Pastor Salmon and a network of 25-30 pastors he works with.

Jesus said “the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.” It takes willing laborers and supporters to fulfill this loving desire and command of the Lord. I am also reminded of the words of  The Lord Jesus who said “freely you have received, freely give” and “to whom much is given, much is required.”Let us have hearts who hear the call “who shall we send” and also the cry of the lost and perishing, the poor and the needy, and the widow and orphan.” Please consider how you may help through giving of your prayers, financial support, or your very lives. The reward and blessings are treasures that we can lay up in heaven. It is such an honor to lay down our lives for the One who laid down His life for us!
